The name ‘Suthainn’, Gaelic for ‘eternal’, reflects the unique maturation concept: with each new batch, a portion of the previous batch is incorporated into the Solera system, allowing a particularly complex and harmonious flavour profile to develop over time.


The Aberlour Suthainn Double Sherry Cask Solera is matured in sherry casks, giving this Speyside single malt Scotch whisky its intense fruitiness, a creamy texture and an elegant spiciness. Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Baked blackcurrants, apple pie, vanilla, cinnamon and marzipan.

Palate: Rich and velvety with caramelised apples, pears, fresh strawberries, creamy oak and butterscotch sauce with warming spices.

Finish: Long-lasting, sweet and creamy with aromatic spice.

This Speyside single malt Scotch whisky is excellent enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water, which allows its fruity and spicy sherry notes to unfold even more intensely.
