Nonino Ginger Spirit 50% vol. 0.5 l is an exceptional Italian speciality from Nonino, which impressively demonstrates how a spirit of innovation and the traditional art of distillation can be combined. Unlike classic liqueurs or flavoured spirits, Nonino Ginger Spirit is produced exclusively from pure ginger of Italian origin (Zingiber officinale Roscoe). The result is a unique distillate that reflects the intense spiciness and freshness of the ginger root in its purest form. The high-quality 0.5 l bottle is aimed at discerning connoisseurs and lovers of exceptional distillates.


Production involves maceration followed by 100% artisanal distillation. After anaerobic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks without any additives, the ginger is distilled immediately to preserve its freshness and valuable aromas as effectively as possible. Distillation takes place slowly in copper steam stills specially developed by Benito Nonino, which were designed for processing special raw materials such as fruit and ginger. The distillate is then left to rest for between six months and a year in stainless steel tanks, allowing the flavours to blend harmoniously. Production is limited, underlining the exclusive character of this exceptional spirit.
