This 15-year-old Highland single malt owes its depth and complexity to a unique maturation process: it spends the first 12 years in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, where it develops gentle vanilla and honey notes. It then matures for a further 3 years in three different ex-sherry casks: Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem Oloroso. This special combination gives the whisky its robust structure and elegant balance, which sets it apart from other bottlings.

With an alcohol content of 40% vol., Dalmore 15 offers a velvety, smooth mouthfeel that will delight both connoisseurs and beginners alike.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with copper reflections.

Nose: Rich aromas of candied oranges, dark berries, cinnamon, roasted almonds and fine sherry.

Flavour: Full-bodied and harmonious, with notes of toffee, dried fruit, dark chocolate, fine oak spice and a hint of espresso.

Finish: Lingering and warming, with hints of spices, nutmeg, sweet sherry and fine wood.

The Dalmore 15 Years Old unfolds its full flavour best neat or with a few drops of water to intensify the complexity of its aromas. Thanks to its rich fruit and sherry notes, it harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, caramelised nuts or mature cheese.
