This homage is expressed through a masterful cask composition of six different cask types. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, Madeira casks, Marsala casks, port casks and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. This unique variety of casks creates an impressively deep, balanced and velvety-complex flavour profile that is unparalleled in the world of Scotch whisky.

Tasting Note

Colour: Mahogany with a copper-gold shimmer.

Nose: Multi-layered with red berries, cinnamon, dark chocolate, orange marmalade, roasted nuts, sherry spice and a floral depth.

Flavour: Complex, soft and round with sultanas, mocha, vanilla cream, ripe plums, almonds, spicy notes and soft wood.

Finish: Langs and warm with dried fruit, oak spice, dark chocolate and elegant tannin structure.
