The Henkell Trocken 3 litre is an impressive large bottle of a German premium sparkling wine that is perfect for festive occasions and special enjoyment. The high-quality cuvée consists of selected European grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Blanc de Noirs and Ugni Blanc. These grape varieties give the sparkling wine its characteristic balance, fruity flavours and elegant freshness.

It is produced using the tried and tested Charmat method, in which the second fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This method preserves the fine fruit flavours of the grape varieties and ensures a consistent, fine-sparkling carbonic acid. Henkell Trocken is produced in the traditional Henkell sparkling wine cellar in Wiesbaden, one of the most renowned sparkling wine houses in Germany. The generous 3-litre bottle not only makes for a spectacular appearance at any celebration, but its larger volume also allows for particularly gentle ageing with more depth of flavour.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Henkell Trocken shines in a clear, light gold colour with a lively, fine-pearled mousse. The nose reveals fresh aromas of green apple, citrus fruit, white flowers and a hint of apricot. On the palate, the sparkling wine is dry, balanced and refreshing with finely structured acidity and an elegant finish with a delicate hint of yeast.
