Havana Club Selección de Maestros represents the ultimate and most perfect expression of the collective commitment of six experienced Maestros Roneros, led by the talented Don Jose Navarro.
To create the "Selección de Maestros", the Maestros Roneros work together to select the finest aged rums that have been set aside one by one for their truly exceptional quality.
These carefully selected prestige rums are then blended, then aged again in specially selected barrels, chosen for the powerful aromatic potential of the wood in which they will develop their character and intensity.
At the end of this final stage in the ageing process, the Maestros Roneros gather together to select the rums that will make up the final blend. This is then bottled directly from the barrel at a tested 45%. This unique refinement process gives the rum its incomparable aromatic bouquet and exceptional quality. Tasting notes:
Colour: Amber with red accents.
Nose: Light, toasted pecan nuts, spices, tobacco, notes of wood.
Taste: Round, lively, complex, full-bodied, cocoa, coffee, sweet tobacco, brown spices.
