Der Laphroaig 10 Jahre reift in ex-Bourbonfässern aus amerikanischer Weißeiche, die zuvor mit Bourbon belegt waren. Diese Fasslagerung verleiht ihm neben seiner massiven Rauchigkeit auch süße Vanille-, Karamell- und Holzaromen, die den typischen Laphroaig-Geschmack abrunden. Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 40% Vol. präsentiert er sich kraftvoll, komplex und zugleich angenehm ausbalanciert. Er ist nicht kühlgefiltert und überzeugt mit seiner natürlichen Tiefe und Authentizität.
