Dimple became famous as a Scottish blend with the best aroma of soft, valuable malts - and through the characteristic, triangular bottle with the dimples that gave the whiskey its name: "Dimple" refers to the charming dimples on the cheeks, chin and above the buttocks on the one hand and the dents in the surfaces of golf balls on the other, whose flight characteristics are significantly improved by these dimples. The brand has been around for over 100 years and soon became very popular. The shape of the bottle attracted many to imitate it, against which the then owners Haig & Haig protected themselves in 1919 by officially registering it as a registered trademark - as the second bottle behind Coca Cola. The quality of the elegant, smooth Dimple 15 Years Old blended Scotch whiskies in the one-liter size and the timeless Golden Selection offering bearing the master blender's signature is truly unique: More than 30 malts make up the character of the Dimple, including, at its heart, precious distillates more than 15 years old from renowned Scottish malt distilleries such as Dalwhinnie, Royal Lochnagar and the Glenkinchie distillery near Pencaitland, around 20 km east of Edinburgh, which is considered the home of the Dimple.
