Justerini & Brooks, founded in London in 1749 by Giacomo Justerini and George Johnson, was granted Royal Warrants in 1761 and developed into a leading wine & spirits merchant. Now part of Diageo, J&B is known worldwide for its popular blended Scotch "J&B Rare", consisting of up to 42 malt and grain whiskies.
The J&B Rare blend combines whiskies from Speyside and Highlands (including Knockando, Auchroisk, Glen Spey), from carefully stored stocks in Scotland.
Since 1884, J&B has been sourcing old, matured whiskies and creating complex, balanced blends with malt and grain fractions. J&B Rare was developed specifically for the US market in the 1930s and contains around 40% malt whisky.
The iconic green bottle with yellow label and red J&B logo has stood for personality, reliability and recognition value in the trade for decades.
As a Diageo brand, J&B benefits from global standards. In addition, Justerini & Brooks continues to operate its renowned wine warehouse, including highly secure Octavian Vaults - expertise from the vine to the bottle.
