The HYVEco distillery from the Czech Republic has made a name for itself with these grog varieties. Both types of grog impress with their high quality and unique taste.
Pirate's Grog 5 Years old Honduran Rum 37,5%, Vol. 0,7l The maturation lasts approx. 5 years and takes place in bourbon barrels. The drink is produced in small quantities on the island of Roatan. This variant is exported from Honduras, which is not common. The drink has the color of amber. The taste is reminiscent of vanilla and can be described as slightly sweet. You can also taste caramel and raisins. The bottle design alone is unusual. The label on the red bottle refers to the number five.
Pirate's Grog No. 13 Fine 13 Years Aged Rum 40%, Vol. 0,7l This brand matures for 13 years in bourbon barrels and is also produced in small batches. The rum is one of the exceptions exported from Honduras, from the island of Roatan. You can smell sweet milk chocolate, dried fruit and exotic spices. The taste of this slightly darker variant is soft chocolate and butterscotch. There are only 777 bottles worldwide.
