The Trois Rivières plantation, which was established more than 3 centuries ago, is an integral part of Martinique's historical heritage. Its name refers to the three rivers that border the sugar cane fields: Oman, Bois d'Inde and Saint Pierre. No sugar has been produced here since 1905, only rum, and since 1940 only agricole rum. This is obtained through the direct distillation of freshly pressed sugar cane juice.

Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the plantation is located in the deep south of Martinique, the sunniest part of the island, where the trade winds blow.
