Kamiki, named after "God's breath" (Kami = God, Iki = breath), combines Japanese and international malt whiskies, refined with clear highland water from Nara and a unique second maturation in Japanese cedar casks (Yoshino Sugi). The result is a harmonious, smooth whisky with aromas of heather honey, green tea, sandalwood and cedar wood.
Kamiki is bottled in the Japanese city of Nara - a spiritual center with a long whisky tradition. It is produced near the famous Ōmiwa Shrine, where it is made with respect for craftsmanship and nature.
After initial maturation in classic oak barrels, Kamiki is given its special character by being matured in Japanese cedar barrels. This refinement gives it an unmistakable, spicy-woody character with a soft mouthfeel.
