Die Reifung im PX- und Quartercask, und natürlich die paar Vol.% mehr verleihen ihm mehr Körper als dem normalen 10-Jährigen. Das macht diesen Whisky jedoch nicht minder rauchig oder gar zum "easy dram". Im Gegenteil, er wirkt dichter und voller als die Standardabfüllung. Für mich eine positive Überraschung und sicherlich eine kräftige Rauchbombe die nichts für zartbesaitate ist.

Nicht so rauchig wie der normale Laphroaig, Sherry-Aroma, süß, trocken, kräftig 48%, ein Spitzenwhisky. Dank der 1l-Flasche kommt man auch etwas länger aus.
