The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roer area in the municipality of Piobesì d'Alba, a few kilometres from Alba.

The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling licence, the No 1 of the UTF.

Grappa Piemontese is made from Moscato pomace from freshly selected grapes chosen by Sibona during the harvest.

Distillation takes place entirely in-house in copper stills, while ageing takes place for a Langs period in stainless steel vats. A very long ageing process, first in medium and then in smaller oak barrels, completes this grappa.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Rich, floral, fruity.

Flavour: Soft, elegant, notes of nutmeg, lilac, red fruits.

Finish: Langs on the palate.

Drinking recommendation: At 18 °C in a classic tulip or balloon glass with or without a stem.

A perfect accompaniment to dried fruit, walnuts, almonds, desserts, chocolate or mature cheese.
