Der Erwin Sabathi Gelber Muskateller Ried Krepskogel Südsteiermark DAC 2024 ist ein herausragender österreichischer Weißwein, der die Typizität der Südsteiermark in seiner reinsten Form verkörpert. Er stammt aus der Ried Krepskogel, einer klassifizierten Ersten STK Lage, die durch ihre steilen, südausgerichteten Hänge mit einer durchschnittlichen Neigung von 55 % geprägt ist. In einer Seehöhe von 440 bis 515 Metern reifen die Trauben unter optimalen Bedingungen, gekühlt von alpinen Winden und mit intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung versorgt.
Die Rebsorte Gelber Muskateller wird hier biologisch und nachhaltig kultiviert. Die Handlese garantiert höchste Qualität, während die Vergärung mit Naturhefen im traditionellen Verfahren erfolgt. Anschließend reift der Wein für 12 Monate in großen, klassischen Holzfässern, bevor er unter Drehverschluss abgefüllt wird. Diese naturnahe Vinifikation und der Ausbau verleihen dem Wein Eleganz, Frische und Langlebigkeit. Mit einer Trinkreife von fünf Jahren und mehr besitzt er außergewöhnliches Alterungspotenzial und zeigt eindrucksvoll, dass der Gelbe Muskateller nicht nur als leichter Sommerwein, sondern auch als strukturierter und langlebiger Spitzenwein überzeugt. Im Glas präsentiert sich der Gelber Muskateller Ried Krepskogel 2024 in einem leuchtenden Hellgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase entfaltet er eine vielschichtige Aromatik von duftigen Rosenblüten, frisch geriebener Muskatnuss und kandierten Orangenschalen. Am Gaumen wirkt er saftig und klar, wie der pure Genuss reifer Muskatellertrauben, begleitet von zarten Mandarinen-Noten im langen, intensiven Nachhall.

Dieser Gelbe Muskateller aus der Südsteiermark eignet sich hervorragend als Aperitifwein, passt aber auch wunderbar zu frischen Salaten, leichten Vorspeisen, asiatisch inspirierten Gerichten oder saisonalem Gemüse. Ebenso harmoniert er mit milden Käsesorten oder Geflügel. Bei einer Serviertemperatur von 8–10 °C entfaltet er seine elegante Aromatik am besten.
