The Glenglassaugh 10 Years Old Rare Cask Release 2009 Sherry Puncheon Cask 957 57.9% Vol. 0.7 l is an exclusive single cask bottling from the traditional Glenglassaugh Distillery, which is located on the Scottish North Sea coast in the Highlands region. Since its reopening in 2008, the distillery has been synonymous with characterful whiskies that impress with their maritime influences, precision craftsmanship and exceptional cask maturation. This limited edition bottling from the 2009 vintage is part of the renowned Rare Cask Series and has been bottled at cask strength - an authentic expression of the Glenglassaugh style.

The single malt matured for over 10 years in a single sherry puncheon (Cask No. 957), which gave it its intense color, depth and aromatic complexity. The interplay of coastal influences, rich sherry wood and the natural sweetness of the malt results in a complex, full-bodied profile with a distinctive structure. This whisky was bottled without chill-filtration, without colorants and at a strong 57.9% by volume to preserve its unadulterated character.

With its high alcohol content and limited availability, the Glenglassaugh Rare Cask Release 2009 is a whisky for connoisseurs and collectors who appreciate authentic, cask-strength bottlings with depth. Each bottle is numbered and testifies to the craftsmanship with which Glenglassaugh selects and bottles its single casks.
