Buffalo Trace is an award-winning Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey that is produced in the traditional Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. For over 200 years, bourbons with a strong character have been produced here, which impress with their precision craftsmanship, excellent raw materials and long maturation. The name refers to the old bison trails that once led through the area - a symbol of strength, history and determination.
The Buffalo Trace Distillery is located on the Kentucky River and is one of the oldest continuously producing whiskey distilleries in the USA. The regional climate with hot summers and cold winters promotes intensive maturation in American white oak.
Buffalo Trace is distilled from a blend of corn, rye and barley and is matured for at least eight years in new, flamed oak barrels. The bourbon is produced in small batches without compromising on quality or taste.
