Cragganmore is a Speyside single malt with a legendary reputation: founded in 1869 by John Smith, the distillery combines tradition, innovation and a unique aroma that delights connoisseurs worldwide. The Cragganmore Distillery is located in Ballindalloch, Speyside, at the foot of Craggan More Hill. Its proximity to the Strathspey Railway once enabled efficient transportation, while the spring water of the Craggan Burn and the mineral-rich soils provide ideal conditions for whisky production.
Cragganmore uses unique, flat-bottomed spirit stills with T-shaped swan necks, which are responsible for the multi-layered aroma. The combination of worm-tub condensers and a fermentation time of at least 50 hours contributes to the characteristic complexity.
Cragganmore's bottles are classic and elegant, with a label that underlines the brand's long history and premium credentials. As part of the Classic Malts of Scotland, Cragganmore is an integral part of many whisky collections.
