The roots of Dzama Rhum lie on the island of Nosy Be off the north-west coast of Madagascar. The sugar cane grows on volcanic soil, surrounded by aromatic plants such as vanilla, ylang-ylang and cloves - these natural influences already shape the character of the rum in the field.
Dzama has been distilling rhum using traditional methods since 1980. Maturation takes place in selected ex-scotch whisky barrels, predominantly from Chivas Brothers. The production process is based on purity, five-fold water filtration and the complete absence of artificial additives.
Dzama Rhum impresses with its clear indication of origin and authentic appearance. The bottle design reflects Malagasy culture and craftsmanship and underlines the premium positioning of the brand.
