Grace Gin - the Greek gin of the three graces
Grace Gin is handcrafted in Chalkida, in the center of the Greek island of Euboea, in the AVANTES Distillery founded in 1963. Since 2005, the founder's daughters have been running the family business in the second generation, combining distilling tradition with innovation and Greek mythology.
Region & origin
The AVANTES Distillery is located in Chalkida on the island of Euboea. The name "Grace" refers to the three Graces of Greek mythology: Aglaia, Thalia and Euphrosyne - goddesses of splendor, happiness and joy. It is precisely these attributes that are reflected in Grace Gin.
Production & craft
Grace Gin is not based on grain, but on grapes - a special feature that gives it depth and softness. The 13 selected botanicals come from the Greek countryside. A double small-batch distillation produces a balanced, floral and elegant gin with 45.7% vol.
Aromas & character
The nose reveals an elegant bouquet of juniper, floral notes and fine herbs. On the palate, Grace Gin presents itself with restrained juniper, fresh citrus notes, Mediterranean herbs and a soft, feminine spiciness. The finish is long, harmonious and velvety.
Design & bottle aesthetics
The 0.7 l bottle is adorned with a vintage label featuring stylized three graces. The illustration is reminiscent of the classic fashion of bygone eras and conveys grace and gracefulness - a real eye-catcher on the bar shelf.
Mixing recommendation & enjoyment
Ideal neat, on ice or in an elegant gin and tonic with orange and pink pepper. Also a stylish choice as a base for Mediterranean cocktails or martinis.
Awards & reputation
Grace Gin has won several international awards and is appreciated for its aromatic balance, clarity and feminine character - a premium gin from Greece with recognition value.
Conclusion
Grace Gin is a piece of Greek mythology in liquid form - floral craft gin with soul, origin and heart. Now available exclusively from delicando.
