Hansen Rum originates from Hans Hansen's rum trading house in Flensburg, which was founded in 1869. Today, the brand belongs to the Berentzen Group. Characteristic are the elegant blends of Caribbean rums, which are matured in white wood or oak barrels, depending on the variety.
Originally produced in Flensburg, the brand was transferred to the Berentzen Group around 2000 and production moved to Haselünne. The name honors the long German rum tradition.
These are classic rum blends: several Caribbean rums are put together and bottled at drinking strengths of 40-54% vol. Maturation takes place partly in white wooden barrels, partly in oak barrels - depending on the variant.
The bottles feature a classic design with name lettering and stylish labeling - tradition meets modern market presentation.
