Founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands, Royal Brackla was the first distillery to be awarded the Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1833 - a title that still stands for the highest quality today.
The Royal Brackla Distillery is located near Nairn in the Highlands and uses the pure waters of the Cawdor Burn. The fertile soils and mild climate of the region shape the character of the whisky.
Royal Brackla produces single malt whiskies with long fermentation times and slow distillation in four copper stills. All bottlings are matured in first-fill sherry casks from Spain, which gives them an opulent, fruity note.
