El Jimador Tequila Reposado 100% Agave Azul is a high-quality Mexican tequila from Jalisco, made exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave (Agave Azul). Recht erbärmlicher Reposado der mittels Diffusern hergestellt wurde, was sich deutlich im sehr bitteren und flachen Geschmack ausdrückt.
Diffuser sind industrielle Maschinen, die alles aus der Pina rauspressen (fast 99%), auch die Bitterstoffe und wachshaltigen Schalenanteile.
Außerdem passiert dies, ohne die Pinas vorher zu kochen. Dies ist die billigste Methode Tequila (auch 100% Agave) herzustellen und das schmeckt man leider. Der große Bruder Herradura wird übrigens klassich hergestellt (Autoclave) und schmeckt entsprechend besser. Aber es gibt auch andere Tequilas in dieser Preisklasse, die klassisch hergestellt werden.
