The Penderyn MYTH Single Malt Welsh Whisky is part of the impressively reinterpreted Penderyn Dragon Series and represents the modern, clear style of the Welsh distillery. This single malt is matured in a selection of carefully chosen ex-bourbon casks and rejuvenated oak casks, in which the inside of the wood is renewed and recarbonized. This gives the whisky additional freshness, structure and a fine balance between fruitiness and woody notes. The whisky is bottled at 41%, allowing MYTH to develop its lightness and fruity elegance in the best possible way. The bottling is not chill-filtered and not colored, which ensures an unadulterated, natural aroma.
The Dragon Series bears the Red Dragon of Wales as its central symbol, which stands for strength and inspiration. It is an integral part of Welsh history and was carried into the Battle of Bosworth by Henry Tudor, among others, when he was crowned the last English king to ascend the throne on the battlefield in 1485.
