The name "Cruach-Mhòna" means "peat pile" in Gaelic - a reference to the intensely smoky character of this whisky. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, which gives it a harmonious balance between smoke, vanilla, sweet malt and maritime notes. Bottled at 50% vol., it is strong, uncolored and not chill-filtered, so that it retains its natural variety of aromas.
