Der Whisky stammt aus der traditionsreichen Linkwood Distillery in der Speyside, die für ihre weichen, fruchtigen und floralen Whiskys bekannt ist. Diese Edition wurde im Jahr 2012 destilliert und reifte insgesamt 12 Jahre, wobei sie ein besonders aromatisches Finish in Oloroso Sherry- und Tawny Portweinfässern erhielt.

Nase: Üppig mit Noten von Trockenfrüchten, Feigen, Rosinen, Datteln, Walnüssen, dunkler Schokolade und einem Hauch Gewürz.
Geschmack: Vollmundig und vielschichtig mit Aromen von Sherry, Portwein, Karamell, roten Beeren, Eiche, Muscovado-Zucker und würzigem Malz.
Abgang: Lang, intensiv und warm mit fruchtig-süßem Nachklang und feinen Tanninen.
Empfohlen für den genussvollen Purgenuss, vorzugsweise bei Zimmertemperatur oder mit wenigen Tropfen Wasser, um die komplexe Aromatik der Oloroso- und Tawny-Cask-Reifung voll zu entfalten.
