Nach einer langen Reifung von 16 Jahren erhielt er ein besonderes Finish in einem Koval Bourbon Cask – einem ehemaligen Fass der renommierten Craft-Destillerie Koval aus Chicago, die für ihre hochwertigen, getreidebasierten Whiskeys bekannt ist.
Durch das Finish im Koval Bourbonfass entfaltet sich ein spannender Aromenkontrast: Der robuste Highland-Charakter von Blair Athol trifft auf die süßen, vanilligen und leicht würzigen Noten amerikanischer Kleinbrennerei-Fässer. Abgefüllt wurde der Whisky mit 51,6 % Vol., selbstverständlich nicht kühlfiltriert und ungefärbt, um das natürliche, fassgeprägte Profil authentisch zu bewahren.
