Benannt nach einem der malerischsten Strände Islays, nahe der Brennerei gelegen, spiegelt der Machir Bay die raue Natur und Schönheit seiner Heimat wider.
Die Herstellung dieses besonderen Single Malts erfolgt in traditionellen Pot Stills, und seine Reifung findet in einer Kombination aus ex-Bourbon- und Sherryfässern statt, was ihm eine außergewöhnliche Tiefe und Komplexität verleiht. Kilchoman ist bekannt dafür, alle seine Whiskys ohne Kältefiltration und ohne Zusatz von Farbstoffen abzufüllen, was die Reinheit und Qualität des Whiskys sicherstellt. Tasting notes:
Farbe: Helles Gold.
Nase: Lebhaft mit Noten von Zitronenschale und Vanille, durchsetzt von intensivem Islay-Rauch und einer frischen floralen Komponente.
