The Takamaka PTI LAKAZ Rum Batch 3 with 45.1% volume and 0.7 liter content is an exclusive bottling from the Takamaka Distillery in the Seychelles. The distillery was founded in 2002 by the d'Offay brothers and has since developed into a flagship for high-quality rums from the islands in the Indian Ocean. With PTI LAKAZ, Takamaka presents a limited-edition small-batch rum that combines the typical character of the Seychelles with a special selection of barrels.



Batch 3 is an artfully composed blend of rum traditionally distilled in column stills and pot still rum, each aged for different lengths of time in selected barrels. American bourbon barrels, French oak barrels and port wine casks were used, which provide additional depth and fruity accents. This combination gives the rum a complex structure with a balanced interplay of sweetness, spice and fruitiness.



The limited edition is particularly exclusive: only 3,800 bottles of this batch were bottled worldwide. Presented in an elegant gift box, the Takamaka PTI LAKAZ Batch 3 is a coveted highlight for collectors and lovers of exceptional premium rums. Nose: Harmonious blend of vanilla, honey, dark berries, oak spice and a hint of dried figs.

Taste: Soft and complex, with notes of caramel, plums, roasted nuts, spices, subtle chocolate and elegant wood structure.
Finish: Long-lasting, warm and velvety, with a fruity, spicy aftertaste.

Takamaka PTI LAKAZ Rum Batch 3 is best enjoyed neat in a nosing glass or with a small drop of water. It is the perfect accompaniment to grilled lamb, strong cheese or desserts with dark chocolate and berries. It also cuts an excellent figure in a fine Rum Old Fashioned or a Rum Manhattan. Thanks to its limited edition of just 3,800 bottles and special barrel ageing, it is an ideal rum for special moments of pleasure or as a stylish gift. (automated translation)
