Wie der Name bereits verrät, reift der Glen Turner TRIPLE CASK in drei unterschiedlichen Fassarten. Die Hauptreifung erfolgt in klassischen ex-Bourbon-Fässern, die Noten von Vanille, Honig und Karamell verleihen. Ergänzt wird dies durch die Lagerung in Sherry-Casks, die dem Whisky zusätzliche Tiefe, Fruchtigkeit und Würze schenken. Abgerundet wird die Reifung durch Fässer aus europäischer Eiche, die feine Holztöne und eine dezente Tanninstruktur beisteuern. Durch diese Kombination entsteht ein Single Malt mit vielschichtiger Aromatik, der sich deutlich von Standardabfüllungen abhebt. Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 40% Vol. zeigt er sich ausgewogen, elegant und ideal für Einsteiger wie auch Kenner.
