Der El Jolgorio Mezcal Espadín ist ein handwerklich hergestellter Premium-Mezcal aus Mexiko, der die tiefe Tradition der Zapotec-Destillateure in Oaxaca widerspiegelt. Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 48,8% Vol. und abgefüllt in einer 0,5-Liter-Flasche, präsentiert sich dieser Mezcal als intensiver und authentischer Vertreter der Espadín-Agave, der sich durch seine außergewöhnliche Reinheit und handwerkliche Präzision auszeichnet.
Hergestellt wird er ausschließlich aus der Agave Espadín (Agave angustifolia), die in den Höhenlagen von Oaxaca gedeiht. Nach einer Reifezeit von bis zu acht Jahren werden die Agaven traditionell in Erdgrubenöfen über Holzfeuer gegart, anschließend mit Steinen zerkleinert und in offenen Holzfässern fermentiert. Die zweifache Destillation in kleinen Kupferbrennblasen bewahrt den unverwechselbaren Charakter der Pflanze und verleiht dem Destillat seine markante Klarheit und aromatische Intensität. Besonders exklusiv: Die Agaven-Ernte für diese Edition erfolgte im Jahr 2018, und die Abfüllung ist auf lediglich 410 Flaschen weltweit limitiert.
