The Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Years Old Triple Aged Spirit Drink is an exceptional Caribbean rum blend that is a complex and harmonious pleasure thanks to its unique triple-ageing process. Originally from the Caribbean islands of Barbados and Guyana, the distillates are first matured for five years in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate. They are then transported to Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, where they mature for a further five years in sherry casks previously filled with Pedro Ximénez sherry (PX). This double maturation gives the rum its unmistakable depth, intense sweetness and harmonious spiciness.
At 40% by volume, Dos Maderas PX 5+5 is velvety, rich and wonderfully balanced.
