Holyrood Distillery PITCH Single Malt Scotch Whisky 49.4% Vol. 0.7 l is a fascinating creation from the innovative Holyrood Distillery in Edinburgh, one of Scotland's youngest and most exciting distilleries. Founded in 2019, the distillery takes a modern, experimental approach that focuses on exploring malt varieties, yeast strains and cask combinations - with the aim of opening up new dimensions in single malt whisky.

The Holyrood PITCH single malt is part of a series dedicated to the creative diversity of fermentation. The name "PITCH" alludes to the use of special yeast cultures that were used during fermentation and provide a complex aroma. In combination with carefully selected malts and maturation in different oak casks, the result is a whisky that impresses with its depth, structure and unmistakable character.

Bottled at 49.4% vol., not chill-filtered and without colorant, this single malt presents itself in its natural form. It combines the freshness of young distillation with the intensity of precise cask selection. Fruity, malty and slightly spicy notes merge with gentle hints of wood to create an exceptionally balanced whisky that reflects the modern side of the Scottish whisky world.
