The distillery stands for modern craft whisky from Denmark, with a focus on local raw materials, traditional craftsmanship and a strong awareness of terroir. Only 100% locally grown Danish barley is used for this Stauning SMOKE Danish single malt whisky, which is traditionally malted on malt floors directly at the distillery. The malt is then kilned over local peat and dried heather from the Stauning region.
