Alpengin is a high-quality Austrian dry gin that is produced by hand in small batches at the traditional Sonnfeld distillery in Hinterstoder, Upper Austria. The art of distilling schnapps has been cultivated and developed here since 1941.
The distillery is located in the heart of the Austrian Alps and uses only 100% natural ingredients from the region for the production of Alpengin. The combination of Alpine spring water and selected botanicals gives the gin its unique character.
Alpengin is distilled using the small-batch method in traditional copper stills. Each bottle is bottled, labeled and signed by hand, making it unique. The careful selection of ingredients and the loving processing are reflected in the taste.
Alpengin has received several awards, including 93 points at the Falstaff Tasting 2020. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative recipes makes Alpengin an outstanding representative of Austrian gin culture.
