Allesverloren Wine Estate has been shaping South Africa's wine landscape since 1704. Situated on the Kasteelberg in the picturesque Riebeek region, the winery has been run by the Malan family since 1872 and stands for deep-rooted tradition and excellent red wines.
The vineyards cover 227 hectares in the Swartland and benefit from a unique terroir of slate and sandstone soils. The Mediterranean climate with hot summers and cool nights gives the grapes intense aromas and structure.
Allesverloren relies on traditional winemaking with a focus on Portuguese grape varieties such as Tinta Barocca and Touriga Nacional as well as classics such as Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are characterized by depth, complexity and longevity.
