Cazadores Tequila stands for authentic highland tequila from Arandas, Jalisco. Since 1922, the brand has combined traditional craftsmanship with sustainable production and offers 100% Blue Weber agave tequilas with an unmistakable character.
The distillery is located in Arandas, in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The region is known for its mineral-rich, red clay soils and cool climate, which give the agaves a sweet and fruity aroma.
Production involves a seven-step process that includes agave harvesting, 24-step diffusion to extract juice, double fermentation with proprietary yeast culture and double distillation. Fermentation takes place under the influence of classical music to positively influence the yeasts.
The Cazadores bottles bear the symbol of the deer, inspired by an encounter between the founder Don José María Bañuelos and a deer in his agave fields - a symbol of strength and elegance.
Cazadores operates a sustainable production with a zero-waste approach. The distillery uses biomass boilers that run on 100% agave residue and relies on environmentally friendly processes.
