Espolòn tequila - authenticity from 100% Blue Weber agave
Espolòn was founded in 1998 by master distiller Cirilo Oropeza at the Casa San Nicolás distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco. Each drop is made from hand-picked Blue Weber agave, gently steamed in autoclave kettles and double distilled in a combination of pot still and column still - for clarity, depth and craftsmanship.
Region & Origin
Produced in the "Los Altos" of Jalisco, Espolòn uses regional spring water from great depths. The highland region is known for its particularly aromatic agave with a natural sweetness.
Production & craft
Cirilo Oropeza combines traditional methods with modern technology: gentle steaming, slow fermentation and double distillation guarantee a pure, aromatic distillate - perfectly balanced between strength and finesse.
Design & brand appearance
Each bottle bears an artistic label featuring the legendary rooster Ramón - inspired by Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada. The depictions tell historical scenes from Mexico's eventful history and make every bottle a collector's item.
