Glen Breton is Canada's first single malt whisky and is produced by the Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia. Since 1990, the distillery has been using traditional production methods based on the Scottish model - with local ingredients, crystal-clear spring water and barrel maturation in the Canadian countryside. The result: a whisky with elegance, depth and regional character.
The Glenora Distillery is located on Cape Breton Island, a spectacularly scenic region in Nova Scotia. The harsh climate, fresh Atlantic air and pure spring water make Glen Breton a whisky with an unmistakable character - Canadian at heart, Scottish in style.
Glen Breton is traditionally distilled twice in copper pot stills and then matured for up to 19 years in oak casks - including former bourbon and icewine casks. Without chill filtration or colorants, it is authentic, pure and complex.
The bottle is classically elegant with a Canadian maple leaf and high-quality details - a clear statement of origin, aspiration and quality.
The distillery produces independently, locally and close to nature - with a focus on quality and environmental awareness. Water, grain and energy come from the region.
