Since 1912, the Grassa-Artaud family has been running the traditional Château du Tariquet in Eauze, south-west France - a wine and Armagnac estate with roots dating back to the 17th century. The focus is on sustainable winegrowing practices, regional terroir and characterful distillates.

The Bas-Armagnacs mature in the gentle oceanic climate of Gascony, where mild day-night temperatures refine the maturation process. Originally fermented wine from grape varieties such as Ugni-Blanc, Baco or the rare Folle Blanche is distilled in charming, locally crafted copper alambics.
Production & craft
The distillate is produced directly at Château du Tariquet and carefully filled into French oak barrels. No sugar or colorants are deliberately added - the Armagnac develops its flavor solely through barrel maturation, grape character and maturing time.
