Blanton's The Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 46.5% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is considered one of the pioneering bottlings within the single barrel bourbon category and is produced in the traditional Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle comes from a single barrel and is taken exclusively from the coveted center cut of the famous Warehouse H, the warehouse that offers particularly constant maturing conditions. Dies ist mein erster Bourbon, bisher hatte ich nur Lagavulin (16y), Talisker und Laphroaig (beide 10y).
Gegen diese Whiskys finde ich diesen Bourbon stärker in Geruch (mir fällt es schwer zu Atmen wenn ich das Glas ansetze) und etwas milder im Geschmack und wesentlich süßlicher.
