Der Antinori Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2022 zählt zu den bedeutendsten Rotweinen Italiens und ist ein echtes Aushängeschild des modernen Weinbaus in der Toskana. Dieser ikonische Wein stammt aus dem renommierten Weingut Tenuta Guado al Tasso in Bolgheri, im Herzen der Maremma an der toskanischen Küste, wo das Zusammenspiel aus maritimer Brise, sonnigem Mikroklima und kargen, gut durchlässigen Böden beste Bedingungen für internationale Rebsorten schafft.
Die Cuvée besteht typischerweise aus Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc und gelegentlich einem kleinen Anteil Petit Verdot. Im Jahrgang 2022 entstand daraus ein besonders eleganter und tiefgründiger Wein mit ausgeprägter Struktur, Komplexität und Lagerpotenzial. Die Reifung erfolgt rund 18 Monate in französischen Barriques, was dem Wein zusätzliche Tiefe, samtige Tannine und ein feinwürziges Aromenspektrum verleiht. Der Guado al Tasso ist das Flaggschiff der Tenuta – ein Super Tuscan mit aristokratischer Ausstrahlung und internationaler Strahlkraft.

Im Glas zeigt sich der Guado al Tasso in einem dichten Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen. Die Nase ist intensiv und komplex, mit Aromen von reifen dunklen Beeren, Schwarzkirsche, Pflaume, edlem Holz, Zedernrauch, Lakritz und feiner Bitterschokolade. Am Gaumen vollmundig, dicht und gleichzeitig elegant, mit feinkörnigem Tannin, perfekter Balance zwischen Frucht, Würze und Frische sowie einem langen, mineralischen Abgang, der noch viel Entwicklungspotenzial verspricht.
Ein exzellenter Begleiter zu gereiftem Rindfleisch, geschmortem Lamm, Wildgerichten mit dunkler Jus, Trüffelgerichten oder gereiften Hartkäsesorten.
