Diese exklusive Abfüllung trägt den Titel Batch No. 001 (2025) und steht für einen neuen Abschnitt in der Entwicklung der Destillerie. Mit einer Reifezeit von sechs Jahren und einem Alkoholgehalt von 46% Vol., abgefüllt ohne Kühlfiltration und ohne Farbstoffe, verkörpert dieser Whisky das Qualitätsversprechen deutscher Handwerkskunst in der Welt der Single Malts.
Hergestellt wird der Elsburn Single Malt Whisky in der kleinen, familiengeführten Hammerschmiede-Destillerie im niedersächsischen Harz, die seit Jahren für handwerklich produzierte Whiskys mit hohem Anspruch bekannt ist. „The Journey“ steht symbolisch für die Reise des Whiskys – von der sorgfältigen Destillation bis zur Auswahl der Fässer und dem gereiften Ergebnis in der Flasche.
