In diesem Jahrgang vereinen sich 60 % Blaufränkisch, 20 % Zweigelt, 15 % Merlot und 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon zu einer komplexen, vielschichtigen Komposition mit internationalem Format.
Die sorgfältig geernteten Trauben wurden besonders schonend verarbeitet und über 24 Tage auf der Maische vergoren, um die tiefen Farbpigmente, Aromen und die Struktur der Tannine optimal zu extrahieren. Nach dem biologischen Säureabbau reifte der Wein für 18 Monate ausschließlich in neuen Holzfässern, was ihm Dichte, Würze und beeindruckendes Entwicklungspotenzial verleiht. Der Impresario 2022 verkörpert wie kaum ein anderer Wein des Hauses die Verbindung aus burgenländischer Tradition und moderner Stilistik. Tasting notes:
Im Glas zeigt sich der Wein in einem dunklen Rubingranat mit opakem Kern, violetten Reflexen und zarter Randaufhellung. Die Nase ist intensiv und vielschichtig, geprägt von Nuancen edlen Holzes, schwarzer Johannisbeere, dunkler Schokolade, Nougat und kandierten Orangenzesten. Am Gaumen wirkt der Wein kraftvoll, konzentriert und elegant, mit dezenter Extraktsüße, reifen Tanninen, dunkler Beerenfrucht, Herzkirschen und salziger Mineralik. Die Struktur ist fest und zugleich fein verwoben, der Abgang lang und mit exzellentem Reifepotenzial.

Diese Cuvée ist ein hervorragender Begleiter zu geschmortem Rind, Wildgerichten, Lamm mit Rosmarin, kräftigen Saucen oder gereiftem Hartkäse. Auch bei festlichen Menüs oder als Speisenbegleiter zu Trüffelgerichten zeigt sie ihr gesamtes Potenzial. Aufgrund der Tiefe und Jugend des Weines wird empfohlen, ihn mindestens 4 Stunden zu dekantieren. Serviert bei 16–18 °C, entfaltet sich die ganze aromatische Bandbreite dieser edlen Cuvée.
