The Kingsbarns 10 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first official 10-year-old bottling from the young Kingsbarns Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands, marking an important milestone in the history of the distillery. Produced from Scottish barley and distilled using the traditional pot still method, this bottling demonstrates what careful maturation and targeted barrel selection can achieve.
The whisky matured for the entire ten-year period in a combination of 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% STR red wine casks (shaved, toasted, recharred), giving it a balance of vanilla, fruitiness, spice and structure. It was bottled with an alcohol content of 46% vol., not chill-filtered and in natural color, in the spirit of an authentic, modern single malt.
