The whisky is matured for 18 years in a fascinating combination of first-fill bourbon casks (53%) and second-fill sherry casks (31%). A further, particularly interesting component (16%) was initially matured for 11 years in sherry casks, then transferred to virgin French oak for around five years and finally recasked in second-fill bourbon casks.
