Der Rebel Small Batch Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey ist ein beeindruckender Vertreter amerikanischer Whiskey-Tradition und verkörpert die Leidenschaft und Handwerkskunst, für die Rebel seit dem Jahr 1849 steht. Dieser außergewöhnliche Small Batch Bourbon basiert auf der historischen wheated Mash Bill, die aus 68 % Mais, 20 % Weizen und 12 % gemälzter Gerste besteht – ein Rezept, das seit fast zwei Jahrhunderten unverändert geblieben ist. Damit leistete Rebel einst Pionierarbeit, indem er im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Destillerien auf einen hohen Weizenanteil setzte, was dem Whiskey seine unverwechselbare Weichheit und Milde verleiht.

Der Rebel Small Batch Reserve Whiskey ist ein exklusiver Blend, sorgfältig kombiniert vom erfahrenen Master Distiller John Rempe. Für diese Edition werden nur handverlesene Fässer ausgewählt und anschließend kunstvoll miteinander vermählt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Bourbon mit intensiven Aromen von Honig und Vanille, die typisch für das klassische Rebel-Rezept sind. Mit seiner kräftigen Abfüllstärke von 110 Proof (55 % Vol.) zeigt sich dieser Bourbon besonders aromatisch, ausgewogen und komplex – ein Erlebnis, das sich am besten pur oder mit wenigen Tropfen Wasser genießen lässt.

Dieser Small Batch Reserve richtet sich an echte Kenner, die einen vielschichtigen und charaktervollen Bourbon schätzen. Er ist kraftvoll, elegant und lang anhaltend im Geschmack – ein authentischer Ausdruck amerikanischer Destillationskunst mit unverwechselbarer Persönlichkeit. Tasting notes: Farbe: Tiefes Bernstein mit goldenen Reflexen.

Nase: Ausdrucksstark mit Noten von Vanille, Honig, Toffee und feinem Holz.

Geschmack: Vollmundig, samtig und harmonisch mit Vanille, Karamell, Honig und zarter Würze.

Abgang: Lang anhaltend, warm und weich mit süßen Vanille- und Eichentönen.

Der Rebel Small Batch Reserve entfaltet seine aromatische Tiefe am besten pur bei Zimmertemperatur oder mit einem Spritzer Wasser, um die süßen und würzigen Facetten zu betonen. Kulinarisch passt er hervorragend zu gegrilltem Rindfleisch, BBQ-Rippchen oder geräuchertem Speck, wo seine Honig- und Vanillenoten den kräftigen Geschmack des Fleisches ideal unterstreichen.
