FEW Spirits was founded in 2011 in Evanston, Illinois - the historic center of the US Prohibition movement. Founder Paul Hletko realized his vision of handcrafted whiskeys and gins that combine tradition with innovation. The name "FEW" is a tribute to Frances Elizabeth Willard, a leading figure in the temperance movement, and also stands for the limitation to selected, high-quality batches.
Located in the heart of the Chicago metropolitan region, FEW Spirits uses locally grown rye, corn and barley. The distillery is located in a former car repair shop and embodies the urban, independent character of the brand.
FEW relies on the "grain-to-glass" principle: from milling the grain to bottling, every step is carried out in-house. The whiskeys are matured in air-dried oak barrels, while the gin is refined with botanicals such as juniper, citrus fruits and Tahitian vanilla.
The bottle labels are inspired by the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago and reflect the pioneering spirit of the brand. Clear lines and historical references give the products an unmistakable look.
