Hier entstehen sie: die legendären Bud-Spencer- & Terence-Hill-Whiskys und -Liköre – mit Leidenschaft gebrannt bei St. Kilian Distillers. Die deutsche Whiskybrennerei nach schottischem Vorbild destilliert ihren Whisky in originalen Kupferbrennblasen von Forsyths.
Alle Destillate, ob mild oder rauchig, reifen vollständig in mehr als 400 verschiedenen Fassarten. Die innovative Brennerei in Rüdenau bei Miltenberg am Main in Unterfranken ist ein wahrer Besuchermagnet und zieht jährlich bis zu 20.000 Gäste an. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen – darunter „World-Class Distillery“, „Distillery of the Year“ und „Whisky of the Year“ – sowie über 250 Goldmedaillen aus den renommiertesten Wettbewerben weltweit belegen das internationale Spitzenniveau der 2012 gegründeten Destillerie.
Bei St. Kilian wird ausschließlich gemälzte Gerste verarbeitet. Für die milden Whiskys verwendet man heimische Gerste, während für die rauchigen Variationen getorftes Malz direkt aus den Highlands in Schottland stammt. Die Whiskys werden selbstverständlich ohne Farbstoffe, nicht kühlgefiltert und ausschließlich als Vollreifungen abgefüllt.
Der Bud Spencer – Distilled Dry Gin kombiniert toskanische Wacholderbeeren mit fruchtigen Amarone-Trauben aus Valpolicella, ergänzt durch Zitrusnoten, mediterrane Kräuter und einen Hauch Whiskymalz. Dadurch entsteht ein frischer, vielschichtiger und charakterstarker Gin.
Die Liköre basieren auf den preisgekrönten Single Malt Spirits (New Make) und Single Malt Whiskys. Ob fruchtig-frisch, cremig-süß oder sanft-würzig – hier findet jeder seinen persönlichen Favoriten.
