The Kavalan SOLIST Vinho Barrique Cask Austria Exclusive is an outstanding single cask bottling from the renowned Kavalan Distillery, which was produced exclusively for the Austrian market. With a limited edition of just 184 bottles, this edition is one of the rarest bottlings in the Solist range. The whisky was distilled, matured and bottled in Taiwan, completely non-chill-filtered, without colorants and in natural cask strength with 55.6% by volume. The maturation in Vinho Barrique Cask ensures an intense, fruity and creamy interplay of aromas that impressively highlights the typical characteristics of this type of cask. The high-quality gift box (GB) underlines the exclusive collector's value of this strictly limited bottling.

The use of high-quality malt and maturation in specially prepared wine barrels creates a particularly multi-faceted Vinho Barrique single malt, which is characterized by notes of beeswax, elegant fruit and a warm, harmonious structure. The tropical maturing conditions in Taiwan give the whisky additional depth and concentration, resulting in an intense, multi-layered taste. As an exclusive Austrian bottling, this soloist occupies a special place within the series and impresses with its characterful combination of cask maturity, fruitiness and natural intensity.
